Good day gamers!
Another post update has been made. Rather: "posts".
Since it's Christmas season I have a little of my extra time to update the CORAT 2 series. Here are 3 chapters from the CORAT 2 series to keep you updated.
The plot has been revealed, but not to worry coz I will try my best not to keep it straightforward from there. Also, we now have our team of 3! The main protagonists for this CORAT arc.
As you have noticed, the Silva Family Chronicles was there to introduce the setting and the background of the story. The Reichters are here to play the real story. We hope you have fun reading.
More chapters, blog revamp and features to come soon.

Chapter 4: The Marionettes

Catherine: Come out now. [said a very calm voice]

And slowly, there were small marionettes erupting from the ground. They were different looking from each other. There was a lady with long wavy brown hair wearing a black dress, an old man wearing suspenders and a rifle in his arm, a woman floating in midair in a french-maid outfit holding out a broom, a man with a lantern in his hand and a larger creature with clenched fists.
A gunshot had hit Bach's hair making him twitch, giving time for Misia to escape. Then he felt a sort of a shock making him numb for a while.

Bach: Argh. So Torsche continues to interfere.

Stein: I will not forgive you for what you have done. Give me the crests.

Bach: Can you not see Stein? I will give you time to think. I have all the time in the world... but your time is limited. I give you 7 days to hand over your part of the crest.
Stein: If we do not do that?

Bach: [takes out a ribbon from his coat]
Stein: That's Irmgard's

Bach: I will see you in 7 days. At the Old Lighthouse.
[A warp gate appeared behind Bach. He went inside and disappeared.]

Stein: No!
Misia: Lord Stein!
Stein: Misia... It's nice to see you again. It would be better if circumstances weren't as such.
Misia: I agree. I'm sorry Lord Stein. Lord Bach freed me from the Joaquin Prison. I thought I could trust him, so I led him to you. I am so stupid.

Stein: It's okay. Perfectly understandable. At this dire times, we are looking for friends. The ones we expect are those who don't turn up, and we see the most unexpected to be the ones to lend us a hand... [stares at Catherine]
Misia: Thank you Catherine.
Stein: But Lord Bach. He has never used space magic before. What could that be?
Catherine: A darker magic assists him...

Stein: Catherine?
Catherine: I was sent by my Master to personally accompany you to him.
Stein: What is happening? Why does Dr. Torsche concern himself with us?
Catherine: He will explain to you fully. Let us make haste for it is almost evening. Dark magic is strongest at night.

Stein: I understand.
Catherine: Let us rest at Auch, and from there... to my master's mansion.
Chapter 3: Thicker than blood
Misia: (We were fast than expected. Lord Bach's connection brought us to the Desolate Cliff in no time.)

Bach: Where here?
Misia: There' s a hut at the top of the cliff. We have befriended the old man residing there.

Bach: I see.

Old Man: Misia Reichter? Is that you?

Misia: Yes sir. Is there anyway that Lord Stein is here right now?
Old Man: [stares at Bach]

Misia: It's okay. He is family.
Old Man: I understand. Let me just get him. Lord Stein. You have visitors.

Misia: He is here!
[And the door opens]
Stein: Misia!

Misia: Lord Stein!
Bach: It's nice to see you again Stein. [Bach grabs Misia's arm and points a gun to her]

Misia: Lord Bach!!!
Stein: What is the meaning of this?

Bach: Hand over the crest!
Stein: What?! Why? What do you want to happen Lord Bach?
Bach: Ever rememebred when we were a little bit younger. That time when we did not have a solution to Luxem's problems. When Luxem was in its deepest... that long nadir of pain and sorrow. That was unacceptable. And what did the king do?! Sell out pioneering families to Vespanola. This sparked the hate in me. My hate for the Kingdom of Luxem.
Stein: You know it was not Luxem's fault. It was Vespanola! It took advantage of our country.
Bach: And the king just accepted it. All my life I have lived in the King's castle. If you only knew the immoralities of the royal family. If you only witnessed it first hand. What happened to Luxem was what the royal family deserved! Not us. Not the people. This is for change Stein. Change!
Stein: You wish to start a revolution? Is that it?
Bach: No Stein... I already have.
Stein: What do you mean?
[Bach showed 4 small jewels pinned inside his coat.]
Stein: You have 4.
Bach: Yes. As we speak, Luxem is already in a civil war. Those who believe in me versus those who currently own the throne. And guess who has the upper hand?
Stein: You...

Bach: Yes! I was supposed to get hold of the crest, but upon my army's arrival to the King's throne room, the royal crest was already shattered to pieces. And the King, sitting in his throne dead by suicide. But no matter. All I have to do is remake the crest which the five families hold.
Stein: The royal duty of the the 5 families of Luxem. Guardians of the crest.
Bach: Precisely. I have learned this from the elders of Luxem. This is not a well known fact. Very few only hold this knowledge. That at the event Luxem would fall, the original crest will be destroyed and with it is the life of the King. And all of Luxem's hopes will be placed in the hands of the five families protecting Luxem.
Stein: What happened to the other three families?
Bach: The 5th Family, the Arches have succumbed to my will. The 3rd Family, the Mineratti have showed resistance. But it is futile. They are locked up at the deepest dungeons of Luxem for their insubordinance.
Misia: The Silvas! The Silvas are here in Granado Espada!
Bach: Which is why I came here personally. The Silva's crest was more difficult than I have imagined. Probably because I have to create my army here from the start. But with the help of powerful people, I was able to get the crest of the 2nd Family. Now all that is left is yours. Hand it over Stein. If you care for your name-sister's life!
Misia: No Lord Stein. This is his last crest. We cannot hand this over.
Stein: But...
Bach: Yes Stein. Would you rather suffer the dread of losing your only remaining family member for a piece of of the crest.
Stein: ...

Bach: So what will it be?

Bach: Where here?
Misia: There' s a hut at the top of the cliff. We have befriended the old man residing there.

Bach: I see.

Old Man: Misia Reichter? Is that you?

Misia: Yes sir. Is there anyway that Lord Stein is here right now?

Chapter 2: Escape
Misia: Lord Bach! What are you doing here?
Bach: For obvious reasons...
Misia: I mean, why are you here in Granado Espada?
Bach: Will tell you later, right now, we'll have to get your things.
Misia: Understood.
The two rushed outside the prison cell where they encountered the ones who were keeping Misia locked. They never realy showed themselves to Misia, except when they occasionally would bring her food, but she never saw their face, nor was she able to talk to them. Only now did she realize why...

Misia: They are the Lifeless...
Bach: Yes, and whoever imprisoned you here must know a great deal of black magic to be able to control these creatures.

Misia: Are we getting Lord Stein also?
Bach: I thought you would be the one telling me his whereabouts...
Misia: I see. Then we must hurry then.
Bach: Here are your things. If we are to get out of here alive, we will need all the fight we can get.

Misia: Okay. Thank you Lord Bach.

Lord Bach Belcrant, 1st son of the 1st family of Belcrant. The right hand of the Kingdom of Luxem, the first guardians. We have always looked up on the first family. They have always been the pioneers, the best in every aspect. I remember Lord Bach as the most excellent marksman in our region. He has always been praised deeply by the King.
And here I am, being rescued by him. There is great shame in what I am feeling now. We, the name-sisters, should be the ones aiding the royals, not the other way around. I am deeply humbled Lord Bach, my sincerest gratitude.

Bach: We're almost there.
Misia: Wait.
Another lifeless spawned out of nowhere. It appeared different than the other creatures, it seemed more complete.

Bach: This one seems tough. Let's do this.
And in a series of strikes and slashes, the creature fell.
Bach: That solves that. We still need to get out of here.
Misia: Where to?
Bach: The main gate. It's the only access to the outside. There's no where else to go.
Misia: But we'll need to pass through them.

Bach: That's manageable. Let's go.

Bach: We're almost there.

And they made it.
Bach: Let's stay here.

Misia: ...
Bach: What's on your mind?

Misia: Everything happened so fast. But we still need to look for Lord Stein and Lady Irmgard.
Bach: Not just Stein and Mimi.
Misia: ... (Mimi... only Lord Bach calls her that. Lady Irmgard hates it but this feeling of familiarity makes me feel more secure.)

Bach: What?
Misia: Nothing Lord Bach. What do you mean by not just my name brother and sister?
Bach: Cyrus is here also. And so is Lucrezia and Lucius.
Misia: Lord Cyrus?! I thought he was left in Luxem? And the Silvas also? WHat are they doing here?
Bach: Cyrus came to follow you. I learned that he is heading for the Frozen Frontiers as we speak. I was not able to meet him personally.
Misia: The Katovic?
Bach: Yes. I'm am still unsure why. But that will be a long journey.
Misia: And the Silvas? How are they?
Bach: They came here to serve as pioneers for Vespanola, like you. But strange enough, I haven't leanred of their whereabouts yet.
Misia: Is this why you came?
Bach: Yes. We recieved word from Vespanolan emissaries that the Reichters and Silvas were nowhere to be seen. A search party has been initiated by the Pioneering service, but I wanted to make sure myself of everyone's safety. This has worried me a lot. So, do you have it?
Misia: What?
Bach: The crest...
Misia: I'm afraid its with Lord Stein.
Bach: Then we need to find him first. I have a bad feeling about this.
Misia: What do you mean?
Bach: Nevermind... Do you have any idea where he may be?
Misia: ... (I was told by Lord Stein that on the worst possible situation we would meet there. Just us and no one else...)
Bach: If you know. Let me know. So we can put and end to this.
Misia: At the desolate cliff.
Bach: At Porto Bello?
Misia: Yes, Lord Stein told me that if ever we were to lose each other. We would meet at the Porto Bello Desolate Cliff.
Bach: I see. Let us go then.
Misia: Yes, my lord.
Bach: For obvious reasons...
Misia: I mean, why are you here in Granado Espada?

Chapter 1: Musings of the Muse
"I woke up again. If I haven't lost count, this is the 58th day that I sit here in this dark and damp place."

Misia Reichter told herself.
She saw herself surrounded by 4 corners of cement walls, a small bonfire at the middle. Yes the place was dark and damp, she got accustomed to it, but the warmth the bonfire provides her sparks the most minute hope left in her.
But she didn't lose hope. She still wished that the people important to her were alive. Stein, Irmgard... That they were alive and that they found each other and have finally prepped themselves for her rescue. But she knew inside her that these were lies. Anything had its consequences.
Were she to hope for Stein and Irmgard's well being, but the fall of Luxem. Or were she to believe that Stein would come to her rescue alone, her life in exchange of Irmgard's.
Misia: Who would have wanted the Crests?

She thought.
Then she recalled, exactly 60 days ago when she and Lady Irmgard have arrived in the New World. They relinquished the site of the Port of Coimbra. She remembered the beutiful sunset, the horizon where the sea would kiss upon the radiant red sky, where the sun would slowly set in as if serving as a medium to break the horizon and make the sea and the sky into one. They would meet Lord Stein at Cite de Reboldeaux and there register as pioneers of Granado Espada.
Upon return to Coimbra, the three of us focused on the mission set to us by Sir Lyndon of the Office of Pioneering Support. We were to meet with Nunez of Coimbra. We were tasked then to slay creatures from the Tetra Ruins. There we met Lt. Grace Bernelli. Her intentions were vague on what she was doing at the deepest part of the dungeon, but nevertheless, her heart was pure. She was our first friend in the new world.
Upon our return to the city, we have recieved a note coming from one of the town guards. He was unsure of whom it was from, but she was sure that it was for us. The note read to meet someone at the City of Auch.
It appeared rather suspicious, but Grace told us that she was heading north as well to meet with someone. It was a nice coincidence, thus settling this decision of heading north.
Upon reaching the Porto Belo Deserted Quay however, we have finally realized that it was a mistake to head north. It was a trap. It was set by someone unknown. I only remember a lady, late twenties, beautiful black hair, her eyes nill. Blunt affect, showing no emotions at all. To our surprise, she was already holding Lady Irmgard's neck in between her left hand and her right knife.
I didn't catch her face but she said, "El Ruina de Memoria...midnight. This lady's neck for your crest."
Then she disappeared in a thick dark mist. We were all in shock, including Grace Bernelli. We asked for directions on how to get there, but since on the way we were still to pass Auch, we decided to go there.
On entering Auch, Grace bid her apologies and her farewell. She gave us directions on how to reach the Ruins of Memory and appeared in great distress upon leaving us. I sincerely did hope that she would not let this into her conscience that she believes she may have caused the disappearance of our sister. We have had suspicions that people may be after the crest,m but we never expected to those people in the New World. Very few people outside Luxem know the significance of the crest to our country.
At Auch, we met a strange looking figure. My thought was, "Was she a human being, or a doll." She appeared to be everything human, but without the humanity. Her name was Catherine and she said that she was the one who handed the letter. She was saying the someone by the name of Dr. Torsche wanted to meet us and it is of dire importance.
What could be more important than saving our name sister? None. We declined the request and set for El Ruina de Memoria...
Misia: What's that?

There seemed to ba a riot outside. The lifeless have screamed in agony of pain and anger. And there were bullet shots, they were fast and accurate as every shot made would mean a cry of dying. Then there was silence.

She heard the iron rails closest to her being opened.
A figure of a familiar face appeared, holding a rifle in his hands. As he swept a thick strand of black hair covering his face of sweat and dirt, this familiar face no longer was familiar, but was very much known.
Misia: Lord Bach!

Bach: Hurry, let's get out of here.

Book 2: The Reichters
"And then there was darkness...
As we were walking along the path of the 3 lakes, trying our best to keep ourselves unapparent to the many thieves who are at the same time making themselves unapparent, waiting for the moment to start, there was sudden darkness. It was as if we were shifted into a different time and space continuum. It was not the work of my name sister, Lucrezia, much more is it the work of the hunter, Lorch Furholden... It was evil in all that it is.
I recalled this moment, this feeling, evidently similar in eeriness as that time in the El Ruina Memoria. It was similar and yet different at the same time.
In this darkness, all i could see was the immediate surroundings of dark grass and my name sister Lucrezia. She was the same as I am, wondering where we are, what had happened. To our surprise, Lorch was no where to be seen. Is this a plot to re-capture Lorch? I was wrong.
I saw another image closing towards us, a familiar face bringing glee into our faces and suspicion shortly after. Then he said...
Forgive me... you cannot proceed any further. Proceed and suffer the same consquences the Reichters are facing.
What do you want? I asked.
Lady Lucrezia... you have it with you, right? The Crest...
Milady didn't have words to speak, as if her voice were muffled by the emotions overwhelming her.
I understand what you are feeling, but believe that this is all for the greater good.
Milday and I had the understanding that we are to have the preemptive strike to escape from this situation, but as if the darkness were closing in, we cannot move, even for a bit...breathe even.
And then the little light that I could see disappeared... I could be dying from asphyxia, or hallucinating, or both. But as the lights dimmed, I looked the last that I could of my name sister, I looked the last that I could of my hands...

Trying to come back
Since last year, I have been regularly posting the Silva Family Chronicles here in this blog. With too much work IRL to do, I was not able to come back...until now.
With the coming of update 2.9 (3.0 being so close!!!) I have decided to start playing seaGE again. This time, as a resident of Rembrandt server (since most of my friends are from the Non-PK servers).
I will try my best to restart this blog, I'll try to continue the Silva Family Chronicles through the eyes of the Reichter Family of the Rembrandt Server.
See you soon!

I'll be taking a short break from GE and from blogging in the next few weeks. As you know, in the Philippines, in one month, most of the schools will be having their finals. Meaning, this is hell month for us med students.
Hope to come back soon.
BTW, future updates will include more Colony War experiences, the CORAT series, probably a CORAT spin-off (still thinking if I'll make it a spin-off or a part of the series), my in-game journal and a lot more. I'll also ask my brother how to make this blog look better, I'm not much of a computer genius.

Shifting Tides
2007.1.27 Caravaggio Server

Before I begin let me just say that this is my Angie's baptism of fire. Welcome to the battlegrounds.

Warp slot assignments were more than the usual thus forcing us to delete some of our old save points or not opting to make a save point at all. This has proven to be a problem for my faction.
During the first 15 minutes, it appeared that most of the factions were waiting for each other to declare war on each other. The declaration of war of Reconquista against BarurotBoyz broke the silence as later, Eden has declared war on Adeptas Fraternas.
While waiting for the 5 minute declaration leeway, my faction camped at Rion Prairie, Eden colony.

Eden, on the oher hand camped at our colony, Rio Albi. During this time, while waiting for the declaration to begin, Reconquista has already occupied one of BarurotBoyz' colony. As proven by the previous colony wars, Reconquista has always been one of the fastest factions to break the colonies. This was further proven as Reconquista further advanced against BB and then later against Eclipse.
When war was declared between Eden and AF, it was now a matter of who had more people, valks and blades. AF broke Eden colony first, and some 8000HPs later, Eden broke AFs.
From this point on, things became messy.
AF was more on the offensive side while Eden was on the defensive. As AF tried to acquire more colonies for itself, Eden has always been successful in repelling AF.
Among these skirmishes included:
The Battle of Rio Albi.

As AF tried fiercely to occupy Rio Albi, the elite members of Eden have always managed to keep us at bay.
The Battle of Topolo Durga.

Although the first few attempts were unsuccessful, later AF was able to get hold of this colony.
However, in exchange, Eclipse was able to get hold of the Pradera Ceniza and the Lago Celeste. I know that there are a lot of Eden members, but I believe that AF had enough members during this war. But the lack of warp slots have made offensive strikes often unsuccessful. Frequent attempts were made to acquire Bonavista or reclain Rio Albi, but both proved futile.
This was during the last 30 minutes of the war. Eclipse have attempted to take a few of Reconquista's colonies. At the same time, Supperclub, BarurotBoyz and Azyr have had their own skirmishes against the Reconquista faction.
During the last few minutes, even in the danger of losing Rion, AF opted to go to the offensive to keep Eden busy. This resulted to the Battle of Pradera Ceniza as AF tried to retake the said colony.

I think this was the first time, since I came to AF, that we had exclusively warred against Eden. During the previous CWs, AF have always had war with Reconquista with Eden at the side. This is why I have just noticed and realized that a lot of the elite members of Eden came from my previous faction: ReBorn Faction, one of the top guilds (if not the best) in Caravaggio history. This fact has just reinstated my belief that our faction, along with the rest of Caravaggio are doing battle with the top 2 guilds of the server, Reconquista and Eden.
This alliance have become stronger thus shifting the tides of war in their favor.
Adeptas Fraternas - 3

Bring It On 2
The Adeptas Fraternas Faction held an in-game event, strictly for AF members only. The event has three parts:
1. Bring Me!
Our elite squad donated a few of their elites or other really good equips. In order to win, we had to bring the items that Maki aka .™ would ask for.
First was an item that can only be found with Riskbreaker. Apparently, Riskbreaker was hiding in Gehenna, making those with Gehenna Warp Points the winner. Of course the fastest one would win. Other items included: a leather armor with movement speed between 5-10%, 5 Bucha del Noches, 10 Tofus, spiritual resistance+magic resistance+stabilizer (the stablizers, none of us have, so they switched it to 5 snowmen), etc.
2. Item Creation!
By 12pm, Maki announced the first item: 10 Platinum Coupons. What would these be for? This would be the first of the many items which would be needed to win a lvl100 weapon! The fastest one to complete all required items would win. I wasn't able to know the other items, but I lacked Platinum coupons, so i Opted not to join this part anymore.
3. PvP!
A small tournament from AF members (except those who are members of the Elite Squad) started at around 1pm. It was a 1 on 1 battle. Apparently, I didn't make it further than first round since the one I had battle with was one of the elitest members of AF, MysticalPwnage.
Meaning~ I didn't win anything at all. Dame.
Till the next Bring It On event then.
Here are some of my screenies from the Bring It On Event:
This is me being a few seconds late during the Bring Me Event. PHAIL!

This is me running for my life. That's an Elite Plate Mail on the line!

This is me waiting to die in PvP.

Since we are on the topic of Games. Let me present to you the "Wack the Capylabra!" Mini-Game.
Woohooo, double topics-single post.
I've been very curious on what the different mini games are in Bahia Island. I did the Rock-Paper-Scissors Game. I think I lost a couple of 92s, 84s and 80s in that game. This is not a game that I'd recommend you playing for a past time. The Battle Arena, I haven't tried yet.
What I'd recommend is the Capylabra and the Watermelon Game. The Watermelon game is quite frustrating as the watermelons just goes out all over. Very difficult to get them all in a single wipe. Which is why, I'm highly recommending the Capylabra Beach Game:
1. Talk to the kid NPC at the beach.
2. Pay 20,000 vis to play a single game. Can only play every 5 minutes.
3. Let the games begin. Your goal: kill all the Capylabras. And believe me, this is really fun and easy.
Wait for them to spawn. They won't spawn at the same time.

And blast em with your AOEs

What do you win?
The Capylabras drop Coconuts, Blank Coupons, 4th Class Coupons, 3rd Class, 2nd and 1st. The Watermelon game has the same, but instead of coconuts, they drop watermelon shells.
I don't know what the coconuts are for but the coupons, you can exchange with the Coupon Exchange Machine at the Bahia Island Reception Area. You need to exchange at least 10 4th Class coupons, 20 3rd class coupons, as for the others, I can't really recall.
What do you get?
Usually, pieces of gems (i.e. Ruby, Sapphires, etc.). Sometimes enchantment chips and other random items. I believe it is worth-it for a mere 20k vis.
Will update this post since most of these info comes from what I can recall.
